I left austin the other day and decided to go the 290 route to see the bluebonnets but I honestly didn't see much besides that one large field at someone's ranch everybody was jumpin the fence to lol. I enjoyed the view and drive from Columbus to San antonio on I10 much more. Plus it's easily accessible right off the interstate for photos.

We saw beautiful bluebonnets on TX-16 from Llano to Fredericksburg. Like most people pointed out, 290 route did not have much.

Has anyone driven past the 34th/TC Jester area in the past week? Are the bluebonnets still there?
