Hi all!

Back home, there was a park near where I lived that had an area with stations where you could do pull ups, dips, and things like that. Are there any parks here in Houston that might have something similar?

Here's a list of 16 parks that have fitness trails, from Conroe to Pearland, Sugar Land to Pasadena.

For other amenities check the list on the left.

Enjoy!

What you will find will be limited because everyone is scared to death about being sued for anything that can go wrong. The fewer moving parts, the better for the municipalities. Too bad.

I gotta say that that's something annoying about the US
and one reason I love visiting Venezuela (3rd World Country) over there everything is "At your own risk"

The lawsuit culture in this country is ridiculous

Weird. Terry Hershey has some chin-up/pull-up bars, sit up inclines, etc all along it. It's not listed though. Maybe because things are miles apart?

Yes... too many liberal laws because people are incapable of taking care of themselves, or of being responsible.

My wife is from Barcelona, and we go to some festivals there which would be illegal in the states. Take the 'Correfoc' for example (correfoc is the Catalan word for 'fire run'). I've been to this festival, it is a blast, literally! This is a little town a bit south of Barcelona where her relatives live.

I knew I had seen a tiny one near the medical center, but it turns out it's part of the UTHealth rec center. I've never seen anyone monitoring it, since it's a block away from their building. I'd be surprised if they cared that random visitors used it.
