FPSF moves to the parking lot of Reliant Center. Uhhhh, woo-hoo? I don't go to them, but I would not be too happy about one huge party with multiple stages taking place on a damn hot parking lot. No views of the band either, unless everyone agrees to sit on the asphalt/concrete. I don't know, it just does not have the allure of the banks of the bayou, and the backdrop of Houston, the greenery, water, etc.

Please spare me the reasons for why it was moved, I know why it was moved. What I don't think is cool is that they don't offer any refunds whatsoever. If I had a ticket, I'd say 'its not what I bargained for, and I would like a refund'! Oh well... 'the good side of crack' is that Allen Parkway won't be closed down over the weekend, I hate it when that happens.

BTW, I can't imagine this happening, but I hope those of you who go are not hit with a parking fee also!

Yeah, no shade either and its hot out there!

I don't see why they wouldn't charge for parking, you gotta pay for it when it's downtown, or get dropped off. People can take the rail too.

My block was always bumper to bumper during the festival, many park in Montrose, and walk down. I guess they could not use the venues for indoor shows, sure would make it a lot more tolerable weather-wise. And yes, the lack of shade is going to be the worst, I'm sure they will have some sort of misting/water feature out there to cool people off. Ha... like cattle!

HTBU Same issues on my side of the bayou. 1st and 6th Wards had the same parking issues, even blocking driveways. Some would let you park in the yard for $20. Hordes of people would come into the pubs to prepare for the shows. Many that came in after a hot afternoon almost passed out.

Moving to NRG will have the same results as I-fest. Laying down on asphalt as your buzz kicks in isn't as nice as grass.

I don't see the problem. The Warped Tour was in the parking lot of Reliant and people enjoyed it.

Will the lack of the bayou flowing nearby affect R. Kelly's "abilities"?

A festival inside a stadium would suck.
