Quartz could terrors are man made with Quartz and artificial products.

I can't tell if you're being pedantic or serious... so if you aren't...

When people refer to "quartz", they are talking about the man-made version of granite countertops. Real granite is granite, an actual slab of stone. "Quartz" is AKA Silestone, Caeserstone, Zodiac, etc. It's made by (and this is an over-simplification) grinding up granite, mixing in a little filler, and repouring into a man-made slab.

So while quartz is not man-made (duh!), what people call "quartz countertops" is definitely man-made.

And if you were joking, well nevermind.

Soapstone...

Naturally antimicrobial, impervious to chemical stains (see every chemistry lab you've ever set foot in.), scratches add to the natural patina. and it looks great!

Comparable in price to Granite.

This really isn't true either, quartz counters aren't made of ground up granite. While granite has quartz in it, there isn't enough to grind it up and make quartz counters with it
