I'm buying a new construction due to my relocation.

I want to furnish my soon to be 4 bedroom house plus media room.

What are my best options?

I'm new to Houston and I'm not looking for the most expensive stores neither :-)

Thanks in advance!

P.S. I'm looking for a place that delivers and sets up furniture.

COSTCO. Good and consistent quality for the price. Excellent return policy. Online free delivery. But not a huge selection, inventory changes often.

I would suggest Gallery Furniture or Star Furniture.

Both have numerous showrooms to view and purchase your furniture from.

Star Furniture gets my vote. Have a ton of Star stuff in our home including 11 year old couches which look as good as they did on day 1. Bassett is another good one, but definitely not the cheapest or quick since they are build to order. You can snag some excellent deals at the Bassett and Star outlets though.

One more +1 for Star Furniture. Quality is very nice and furniture will last 10+ years. Their warranty is also very good.

I was in your position couple of months back.. I bought my good furniture from star furniture and lesser ones from star furniture outlet.. doing this will not increase your delivery costs..

Louis Shanks. Go here, then go to a place like Star Furniture. You should see a big difference in quality (with Shanks having the better stuff).

Or just go up and down Fondren Road. Lots of furniture stores there.

Louis Shanks is designed for people more than 60 years old in my opinion. Very pricy...

Be careful of Gallery furniture, they claim "Made in America", but they do not claim "Everything in store made in America". A lot of their furniture is not made in America and they will not tell you. Do your research and you will find out.
