This.

When I lived in Dallas a few years back, a suburban mom picking up her daughter at the mall on a Saturday afternoon was shot in the face while being carjacked in the parking lot. Broad daylight. Tons of people around. AND, before we jump to conclusions, it was the nicest/fanciest/most expensive mall in the city. Crime is everywhere. Do what you can to be alert and teach those you care about to be always on alert in large public places.

The mall in Dallas in one of the richest parts of Dallas, not in the middle of a crime-heavy area.

Northpark. I'm guessing that's the mall you keep alluding to but not outright saying the name of.

Are we not allowed to say the name of that mall or something?

I don't know what the hell turnip truck some of you just fell from, but within 1/2 mile of Northpark is some of the most low rent real estate in Texas. Much worse than anything within a mile of Willowbrook. I know because I lived there twice for a total of 15 years and have a son who is there even as we speak.

You are so busy dumping on 1960 you have no clue who lives here, the demographics or anything other than what you believe. Everything you believe is not necessarily fact.
