This guy come here and ask ridiculous questions every couple months about Sugar Land.

His "goal" in life is to move to Sugar Land when he graduate.

I am very concern about the future generation.

Go away ipuck

I don't care for what you have to say, as yet again you can't actually contribute anything to a thread

If you don't want to see my ridiculous posts why go to my threads?

And its one of many of my goals

I wanted to know what everyone outside of myself thought when comparing the 2 cities

I thought it was way lopsided and people here agree

Duhhh, I've got plenty of money and can live anywhere. Duhhh, Should I live in Beverly Hills or Compton? But seriously, do you want to smell petrochemical fumes all day?

Sugar Land has gotten lots more trafficky lately and that would be one reason for having second thoughts about it. Yes, Texas City is a town with petrochemical industry on its outskirts, but for that reason taxes are ridiculously low, and there are plenty of nice neighborhoods for families. It is also a bit off the beaten track so does not get that through traffic many towns do that are on Hwy. 6 or Interstate 45. There are parks, a community college, and of course the water, so you might take a second look at Texas City. Prices for real estate start in the very low 100's and go up to the 300's, more $ on the water.

Texas City is an industrial city first and a residential city second (or third or fourth) whereas Sugar Land is known primarily as residential with some growing employment clusters.

Nothing wrong with that being a goal. It is an excellent place to raise a family. Many people who have young families or want to raise a family at sometime have that as one of many goals. Nothing wrong with that. If you like certain things and need to live in Houston metro, it's one of the best places.
