Just moved here from California and I really miss the taste of Peet's coffee. I was surprised to find out there are not any Peet's coffee shops in the area. I think the coffee and the pastries from Peet's are very good, better than any other chain coffee shop that I have tried. Can anyone recommend a good coffee shop that serves a decent latte, not Starbucks!! I live in the far NW area, FM 249 and Louetta area. Why isn't Peet's in the Houston area?!

Houston has probably the best food in the nation with the exception of two things:
- pizza
- coffee shops

Seems like it would be a better idea to call the corporate office to me. Why would anyone on here know?

"Houston has probably the best food in the nation" lol that gave me a good laugh.

Houston has great coffee shops. Search the chronicle or houston press for good lists. Peets Is terrible

There's a Peet's in Houston in IAH Airport Terminal B, unless they got rid of it recently.
