If not, here is the link: Out-of-State Certified Educators

Also, Spring Branch ISD is a good one to check out. It's not too, too far from the areas you want to live in. Though, the traffic might be bad.
Yes, I have already started that process. Thanks for providing the link though! I will also look into Spring Branch ISD. I have been hearing good things about it.

Below, I'm providing a link that shows all the school districts in the Houston area. If you click on a red star, it'll take you directly to the school district's HR page. This is very helpful indeed since you have to apply to each ISD you're interested in individually. It'll also give you an idea of where all the Houston area school districts are located, if you don't already know.

Plus, there will be information for a job fair that usually takes place in early June. It's too early now for information regarding the job fair, but they'll update that. I have not been to the job fair, so I can't comment on how worthwhile it is.

District Jobs

Good luck!

Hi ieducate06,

I moved from GA myself to Houston about 3 years ago and haven't looked back. My sons attend Elsik in Alief ISD and they love it so much I can't even move out the district...LOL...I think you will like both the city and the school districts. I agree with Redlionjr we need more male role models in the schools. Good luck with your move.

Wow. I hope I like it as much as you and your family. Thanks. Was there anything hard to adjust to in Houston?
