Houston is gearing up for the marathon weekend. Its going to be sunny and warm too.

Any of you running??

And most likely I will only jog and hope to complete it before the awards ceremony which happens at 50 mins past start .

Default Fun, but...

I don't run marathons, but have many friends who do. The route along Allen Parkway is always fun, great place to take the kids to cheer on the runners, and listen to live music, etc.

But I hate what they do to my neighborhood, they close of the streets along Allen Parkway, and Montrose. I live by Fairview and Taft, and the place is always a mess getting in, or out. 'Guess I'll find something to do to keep me home a better part of the day.

Doing the half for the third time... can't wait! It's supposed to be a nice cold day. I was injured the last two times I ran; looking forward to running this one and feeling good! Such a fun race.
