I have to fly to Houston in the Spring and visit the German Konsulat. What is the best direction to go there.
By Cab etc.....And how far is it from the Airport ??

Which airport are you flying into. The German Consulate is in the Galleria area on Post Oak Blvd. Looking up those directions on Google or MapQuest and printing them out may be helpful.

Default Bus service...

Bus service is available, nothing like you would find in Germany/Europe, but service nonetheless. You can make your way to Terminal C, then go to the transport area and look for bus 102. It costs only $1.25. This will take you to downtown, from there, you can take a taxi to the consulate. It is a lot cheaper than a taxi, or shuttle service, though a shuttle service would get you there sooner. Good luck, welcome to Houston!

Try Uber if you want to get there quicker. Less expensive than a cab and probably more clean too.
