Hi

What are some great/ safe 2 bedroom apartments for me and my daughter. Obviously affordable but safe. I do have section 8 but I have a job to pay any difference. I'm not sure what area of Pearland I will live in so any information is wonderful. Thank you so much in advance.

You keep posting this as if you will get more answers than you already have. Why not ask your Pearland relatives where to live?

Where is your job? The commute will make a big difference in where to live.

Be prepared to pay $1200-1600 for a nice two bedroom in Pearland. You might want to consider apartments in Houston. Apartments.com may help you. Good luck.

Yes, in another thread you mentioned that you have relatives in Pearland. So why not ask them? They will be the best source of info.

Wow. Will Section 8 cover that? I wish I had this section too

No, that's why I told her she may not find much in Pearland. I suggested the south side of Houston (not far from Pearland) where she might have better luck. Most of the apartments in Pearland are luxury type apartments, especially the newer ones in Shadow Creek.

First what zip codes is your Section 8 letter approved for in Pearland? Around it? That right there will be a big guide for you. In the west part of Pearland near 288 most of the Shadow Creek Ranch area apartments will be $1400+ for a 2 bedroom. The older ones are renovating and raising rents. On the east side of 288 there may be some but you will need to do your crime statistic research.

You can also look into private property rentals, depending on where you're looking they can be less expensive. Not everyone accepts Section 8 though.
