Good day friends,

I am currently confused between Sugarland and Katy, I will probably live in one of these areas, mainly due to good schools districts and possibly better safety, and sugarland also have another plus that is due to higher community of south asia vs katy i assume

my question si based on my office location of 1880 South Dairy Ashford 77077,

what do you recommend is best place to life in Katy and Sugar land so that I get good elementary and junior high school and also not too far from my office so commute is less stressing for me?

Budget up to 1.7 ot 2 K per month, 3 bed room is sufficient, ideally not too small rooms.

Thanks

Either Sugar Land (note spelling) and Katy are pretty easy commutes so both are doable. However your budget of 1.7 to 2K for either rent or house payments is pretty low for both. Unless it's for an old shot gun shack in old town, non-modern subdivision house you won't find much in Sugar Land at all. Katy is overall less expensive and you might find a decent 20 year old smaller house for that, so I'd lean towards Katy. Hopefully you are buying and have a big down payment making Sugar Land possible too (on quality, I'd prefer SL myself).

In Sugar Land, check the subdivisions on both sides of Hwy 6 around West Airport.

Glen Laurel, Woodbridge, Sugar Mill, Gannoway Lakes and I can't remember the subdivision on the west side of Hwy 6. Those are good neighborhoods in your price range. Woodbridge is very diverse.
