I've lived in Pasadena, Clear Lake, and Sugar Land and I've never seen one. One of my bosses lives in Fulshear and he has gigantic ones behind his house. They come up onto the shore and bellow.

Seriously, there are people skiing, knee boarding and wake boarding every day, all day in our lake and no one has ever been bitten or attacked. Myself.....I stay out of the water early mornings and late afternoons...that is when we see them most often.

they are not as bad here as they are in Florida, but they are abundant. Take a trip to rosenberg's brazos bend state park, and there are too many there to count.i live north of houston, in montgomery county, ane we have lots of them on lake conroe and the San Jac river.

Brazos Bend State Park is awesome! Have been there many times...great wildlife experience! Gotta watch every step you take!

A few years back a couple we know who lived in Walden on Lake Houston had a baby gator abt 2 ft long or so I think in their carport or back porch area. They lived on the golf course side.
