Cold fronts from the north blow the mud out. It's always clear this time of year, good fishing...

I forgot to mention the expanded beach; that did look really nice as well.

I guess I'm just used to being there May thru September.

Jack, the plane was a rental and car a loaner, lol. Plus every time a pretty Galveston photo is posted the photoshop accusations fly.

I also don't believe it. I've been to Galveston plenty of times when there are no waves and it looks just as chocolately brown as when there are waves. Until someone posts a pic I'm going to continue to believe it still looks like poo.

I have friends coming in from Wisconsin and they wanted to go to Galveston to enjoy the beach one day, any recommendations as to which beach I should direct them to?

So now the water looks good but there's rattle snakes. Trade-off?

Rattlesnakes spotted on Galveston beach

Yep. You cannot convince me that Galveston is any shade other than soup broth brown unless you show me an unaltered picture.

Ahh Galveston bashing rears its ugly head once again.

Just look at the link d2mini posted above, West beach looks great in spite of the snakes

P.S. Pedro, people are going to hate no matter what....
