I wasn't talking about paying for your little art project.

Which is the topic of the thread, so if you have nothing to contribute to it you shouldn't be posting here, per the TOS.

I did contribute by replying to a comment in this thread, you just don't seem to like what I had to say. Nothing in the TOS allows for uninterrupted rambling about pie in the sky art projects, maybe you should read it again... or paint it on an overpass. I'm sure all the homeless folks will appreciate what you've done to better the city.

Here's an article highlighting a recent freeway art project in Sacramento. I definitely prefer the minimalist concept over the more grandiose designs you see in cities in the Southwest.

Houston is in dire need of revisionists and needs to free its dead weight of short sighted cynics.

Once you rid the city of it's conservative "dead weight" who is going to pay all of your bills?

Yes, the overpasses should be painted.

One color.

Battleship gray, otherwise, with no distracting designs, pictures, or images of any type whatsoever.

That is all.

The good news is their politics are dying, so we don't have that much longer to put up with it.

I agree, but only with the older areas. The new freeways SHOULD NOT be painted over, they look so nice and neat lol (i hope we can keep them that way). I also like how they have the Texas Outline along the interchanges and near some of the underpasses. I also agree maybe flowers/bushes may look better too..

On 45 and Wayside there is something like that but it looks awful now. I45 is a major eye sour IMO, its just a ugly freeway, but after a while you get use to it. I wish they would have done something like Dallas with 75, it looks so much cleaner like that.
