Yes, this has happened probably once a year average over the last 10 years or so in Sugar Land (maybe a shade higher than that). Usually the victims are South Asian business owners who keep a lot of cash and jewelry at home. The criminals usually case the business and home out and target these specific victims.

The likelihood of being a victim of a home invasion in Sugar Land is pretty close to zero if you are not a business owner.

Sugar land? Yes usually Asian targets with hoards of cash they are trying to hide from the IRS. I grew up on the bad side of Sugar land. Yes it does exist. It is not Mayberry there.

Even the bad side is not as bad as the "bad" parts of Houston though. Are you talking about the Town West area? I grew up in First Colony.
