Cant believe no one has mentioned Puncture. It's a pretty decent flick and was completely filmed in Houston...I think.

Jason's Lyric; the entire movie was filmed in Houston. Most of the film was filmed in 3rd Ward, 4th & 5th Ward.

The Sugarland Express, based on a true story, Steven Spielberg's first movie, part of it was filmed in the Sugarland area. He put a lot of work into portraying Texas rural and law enforcement culture in a realistic way. It's one of my all time favorite movies.

Rushmore, Director Wes Anderson is a Houston native and went to St Johns School. The movie is filmed mostly in River Oaks and West U areas. I feel it really captures Houston in a way I can’t describe. He does a great job of creating an atomosphere, and the diversity and types of characters—you could see this story playing out in Houston.
