Developers sell bucolic lifestyle near fast-growing Fulshear - Houston Chronicle

Live just down the road from the area in question. It's nice to see that some of the property owners, as well as the city of Fulshear, are taking strides to keep the area from being completely clear-cut and paved over with 55' lot MPCs.

Love the 45 minute commute to College Station quote. In a helicopter maybe. It's 75 miles.

So 60 acres for $1.4m or 105 acres for $2.9m..

Why not just buy 2 60 acre tracts for $2.8m.. Guess they missed the mark on that one.

I would guess that not all tracts of land are equal (in terms of desirability), judging by the slideshow. I'm not sure if they're all riverfront properties or not.
