We're considering a few homes in these neighborhoods in the Cypress area. Can anyone offer some insight into them? We love the older homes, big trees & quiet streets, but want to make sure there's pride of ownership and more importantly kiddos for our kiddo to make friends with once we're settled. And, of course, the current million dollar question of how did they fare in the floods...

TIA!

Just moved from Longwood and we have nothing but good things to say about it. Homes are not too old (many have been updated), the mature landscape is well kept and based on our experience the community is comprised of friendly, professionals and their families. From what I heard only a small section on the golf course flooded. The schools are also very good. Good luck with your search.

It does help. Thanks! Feel so bad for all those families, though.

We loved Lake and Longwood when we were there a few weeks ago. Beautiful homes with a lot of character and charm. And, my new employer suggested we look there as well. Thanks for the info!
