Since its a small town, everything a person would need is within walking distance. The city of Huntsville has minimal cab services and no public transportation, so a car is the best way to get around. For farther distances, an often-overlooked means of transportation is the Greyhound bus - there’s a station close to campus.

A variety of information on public transportation options is available at the Department of Transportation. Also, Texas Medicaid recipients can request non-emergency medical transportation services through the Texas Department of Transportation. Users must call the toll-freenumber (877) MED-TRIP or (877) 633-8747 in advance to access services.
