Hi, we will be relocating to Houston from the northern state and are looking for a house less than 15 miles from the new office which will be on the N Sam Houston Parkway. We are also looking to be in a good school area. Hoping to buy a new house, equally not discounting the old ones. Our budget is around 250K - 350K.

I found a few houses in the market in the Champions Arbor and would like to know if anyone has additional information about this community such as crime rate, school district, amenities, does it belong to a sub-division, etc? Since it is less than 5 miles (a big plus) from the new office, I would appreciate any information.

Thanks.

This is a very nice subdivision, homes are in the 300's, zoned to cy-fair school district. Tax rate is 2.88 and HOA is 800/yr. We actually have a listing over there that is very nice. Good area, nice homes.

Thanks for the information SkyeAnjel.

We will definitely visit this community on our next trip. On the other hand, my husband thinks it's a bit too close to the office. And he prefers a community with a little more ammenities and with newer houses.

Lots of great neighborhoods located off 249.

Check out the neighborhoods in Champions, Klein and the HP Corridor.

Thanks for the information and it helps to narrow our list when we visit in a couple of weeks so that we are not running all over the place feeling lost.

We are really looking forward to Houston! Especially the weather...and we will not miss the 3" of snow outside our house now!
