Agree. I lived in a nice complex in 77096 about 20 years ago and it was a well under 15 minute drive door to door to the Med Center where I worked.

I'd look just north of Hermann Park in Museum Park. They have some older small complexes for rent between 700-800. Not the nicest, but the area isn't bad and close to the park and the rail. You can pull some up using HAR.

Cool neighborhood but those older places use window units, so they should be aware of that.
