100% of the time, people who say this haven't been to other places in the southern tier of the US.

Please feel free to move away at any time.

You could start a gofundme account to help of just use your large salary over the next two years to move away.

Need help packing? Call 3 men movers.

Bye Felicia.

You guys moved because of weather? I never understood folks who have the luxury of moving because of spurious things such as hot weather. Cold, I can understand but the heat and humidity of Houston? I don't even know how it's that different from the rest of the South in the Gulf?

There might be an influx of people writing posts against Houston and Texas because of the perception of boosting in the other threads. I swear there is this crazed hatred of the State on CD.

The poster is a cold lover; those types say it is too hot outside even if it is 65F out.

You can move to the north and enjoy the brutal winters that lasts longer than the heat in Houston.

Yes, Houston is the only large city on the planet with extreme weather. Every other major and minor city in the world stays a mild 75F year around. I'd bet it's a cool 75F and no humidity in New Orleans and Miami at noon tomorrow.

You could have probably added your comment on one of the 20 other threads instead of starting a new one.

I think she likes the mountains so it's a bit different in the elevations in North Georgia, Western North Carolina, Eastern Tennessee, and Western Virginia, etc if she's there. The daytime is hot but at night, you get a nice breeze and it usually falls down to the 60s. Once you get to Southern GA, Eastern NC, Eastern VA, the weather is very much like Houston. As long as you live east of I-35, you're going to get humidity. DC right now the past week felt like a sauna. However, if a person hates the heat, they hate the heat. Same with cold. I know plenty of people that moved to Texas from the Upper Midwest because they don't have to shovel heat.
