Couldn't wait to the second page to be a predictable incompetent racist huh? Typical city data, cowardly but typical nonetheless.

Whether you are willing to admit it to yourself or not, the question shows that you don't believe a person who is not colored cannot understand & treat your issue...which is the definition of bias/racism.

If a white person, even an albino had asked the same question, all the same people here would be up in arms about how racist that person is...the double standard is in full effect! Only white people are apparently capable of racism.
Man sit your ass down somewhere with that BS. You didn't even have a suggestion for the OP just wanted to ***** about what you feel are double standards. Go get a mason jar and cry into that and move that BS onto another thread. She asked a question and if you didn't have a answer why are you here? All these scenario's typical racist come up with are meaningless. If a white person had asked the same question nobody would care because nobodies world revolves around what the hell yall do. You're not the center of the universe to everybody *gasp*.

And for the record were talking about skin complexion here so it would be best to go with someone who would be a little more qualified in that field then someone who is lacking melanin. Years ago my sister went to a white dermatologist and after many failed attempts of taking medicines suggested by her dermatologist he finally recommended her to a black dermatologist. Needless to say her skin cleared up because the black dermatologist understood her skin better. That's not to say a white dermatologist wouldn't know how to treat darker complexion but it's just easier and more beneficial to have someone who understands the biological differences in our skin complexion. So sit ya ass down somewhere and read a book or something.

OP, try Moore Unique Dermatology and Spa or Dr. Angela M. Davis, MD

Mark, move along. I guess you just want to say your peace but I'm sure there's another thread you can enjoy. Bye
That is the beauty of CD...you don't control it. I get to call a spade a spade, and you can ignore it or move along yourself. You are the person who has the race problem, not me.

How very colorblind of you, bravo. The ironic part is that you consider yourself so much more intellectual and above others (on C-D certainly, and I assume IRL) that you don't realize you actually garner more eye rolls than appreciative nods.

To the OP, my daughter is AA (I'm not) and I'm collecting the recommended Drs on here to look up once she's old enough. Thank you for asking.

I disagree with looking for a dermatologist by race

When you search for a mechanic, do you search for one that owns a car like yours?
Or do you search for one that knows how to fix your car?
Same thing

Skin vs an object? One is permanent, the other you can buy/sell, get rid of when you feel like it.

Really?

So does the black people that prefer to get haircuts from black barbers also have a race problem? You are trying to make something that is a non-issue into an issue, when there isn't one at all.

B_lls are permanent, too
it doesn't mean that everybody with b_lls can perform a vasectomy

I think it's foolish to pick a doctor based on his/her race. You want the most knowledgeable, best trained and most experienced. Allowing your own prejudice to influence that decision is only hurting yourself.
