Does your husband or you like to fish? Clear Lake is close to Galveston Bay and Galveston isn't very far down the road either.....

Pearland ISD has great schools, and you can find a house in your price range on an acre. It's also only about 10-12 miles from downtown.

But one hell of a commute to downtown during rush hour. I'm guessing 1 - 1.5 hours plus each way.

I am not sure Tomball is a good fit for a multi-racial family. I don't feel comfortable there.
