We have 3 prairie dogs. 2 female and 1 male. You would think the male would be in heaven but he's been fixed Never thought they would make such cool pets. A pic of Flair taking an afternoon nap....out like a light on my wife's lap.

Corn snake and a cockatiel. Three cats and two dogs - not exotic.

I have a cat that has a tail so fluffy that it's like a Carnival parade every time she walks around. Also she stands up and brushes herself. Does that count?

Since they are of the rodent family, their poop is similar to a rat and is firm so it's not an issue. They live mostly in a large cage which is 6 feet tall, 4 feet wide but we do let them have supervised play time outside of the cage but will usually go pee inside of it when they need to go. There's a step for them to make it easier to get in and out. One of our females (the one in the pic) will take naps with us and lets us know when she needs to go 'home' to pee. Also, when something scares them, it's a bee line to home lol. You can't really let them run around freely because they are chewers with the females being more so than the males.

If I were to get one, which I'm not going to, it would be a bobcat.
