Hi everyone,
So my husband and I have been living in this complex for a year and we recently transferred to our new unit a few months ago. Since then it's been hell...
1. Neighbors upstairs fight constantly and have the cops in and out
2. Recent drive by shooting to the neighbors upstairs
3. Recent window-smashing to the car parked next to mine
4. Mail has been torn and stolen; and we have been waiting for important mail and checks (my husband's employer is old-school.)

Though we have a rifle and I have great aim, my husband works out of town at least 2 to 3 times a month and I still don't feel safe and at peace.

What are my rights as a tenant? I've been looking through the lease and a few laws and I'd like in anyone's expertise or experiences if the following issues above could allow us to end a lease early?

Thanks in advance!

You should take this to the Renting forum listed under Real Estate. If you click the red triangle shape in the right corner of your post you can ask a mod to move it. Good luck!
