Accredo's products include packaging for snack foods, confectionery items, frozen foods and pet treats, overwraps for paper towels and shrink bundle film for bottled water.

The Sugar Land campus, which uses 100 percent wind-generated electricity, was granted LEED Silver certification by the U.S. Green Building Council for its sustainable site design, water conservation and energy efficiency.

Part of the API group of companies, Accredo has more than doubled its workforce since 2017. The company plans to add 100 new jobs through 2021.

Some great news for the diversity of Colorado's Do-Nut (note spelling) economy, for sure.
Unlike Whataburger Shipley goes as far as Colorado and Florida. I thinks their rapid expansion phase isn’t over either. They’ve opened like 30 locations last year alone.

Speaking of Jack, why no post about Shipley’s rapid expansion

Whataburger is as far west as Arizona and as far east as Florida, and has been for years.

It's not really that relevant from the standpoint of the local Houston economy, anyway.

It's Shipley Donuts, not Shipley's. The sign at the location on Ella outside the Loop is misspelled, and has been since the store opened in 1964.

Mostly I have great Google-Fu, and love to find bizarre bits of information. Unfortunately, my wife doesn't let me play those games...

The headquarters is in Houston. So the more that company expands, the more it benefits Houston particularly.

Ah. The ol' trickle down theory. Kinda like how the glaze trickles down to the bottom of the box into a runny, semi-congealed mass by the end of the day if you don't eat 'em by then.

Now the six million dollar question - does it make the Houston economy more diverse?
