Any thoughts on Arabella?

If you bought at The Wilshire or Arabella (both under construction), you could walk to the River Oaks District, if that appeals to you. Highland Tower is also very close, but it would have to be a resale.

The two condo buildings in Uptown Park are also very nice. When I looked there years ago, they offered a higher level of service to residents ... which of course means higher monthly HOA fees. Nearby are a couple of Randall Davis projects on Post Oak that might be worth looking at.

In another 2-3 years, a couple of very high-end buildings will be completed in River Oaks and on Montrose. I suspect you don't wanna wait that long.

Also check out The River Oaks at 3433 Westheimer. Total redo of an older high-rise apartment tower into luxury condos. Really nice location just a few blocks east of Highland Village and Central Market.

It's hard to believe someone would be looking for a home that expensive using an internet forum instead of a really good real estate agent.

No I would buy. That's a pricey range no doubt about it but it's also a prime location and the building appears to be 5 star

I'm barely on the younger side of old (late 30's) so I would prefer "yuppie" areas over "old money" ones, but at the same time I'm not a fan of grunge and goth. I like Memorial and Upper Kirby I think they both fit the bill. Also I prefer uncrowded areas with low traffic and with greenery if that's possible

Building looks good but are there yuppie singles in this area? River Oaks always makes me think of older folks and golf carts ?
