A great thing about LakeHouse is that it will include lower-priced homes in the $200s, which is atypical for TrendMaker. Glad to see they're reaching out to this under-served market.

I checked out the David Weekley Homes in Cane Island, reading it was in the 200s. It was. Starts at $299,000. Ugh

I was under the impression that Cane Island and some of their model homes flooded during Harvey. If that is accurate, are people ok with living in an area that has already proved to be prone to flooding? I know at one point Cane Island was struggling with sales, but it appears as though it has picked back up. I believe Elyson sales will pick up as well.

I visited Elyson this afternoon. Trendmaker is no longer in Elyson. They are selling the model home. Meritage is going from a 50 foot lot to a 45 foot lot. This newer smaller lots will be available in March.

Ughhh. We were really thinking about building here. After reading this thread I am just not sure how Elyson will continue to develop. It was looking quite promising.. now seems questionable. Do you think the 60-70's will be back?

Why are you concerned about how it will develop? It's not like 40' lots are bad, as long as they're using decent architecture.
