Hello!
Does anyone use wireless Internet as a home Internet source in Houston area? For some reason I would like to go wireless, with a hotspot device. Previously I used NetZero (good quality, but very low monthly traffic allowance) and Clear (great provider with unlimited data, but this company is no longer on a market).

I need at least 50Gb of wireless traffic per month. Reliability of connection is most important. However I am not very picky about the connection speed (5-7MB/s is enough for me). Price is somewhat important. I would like to stay within $60-70 budget per month (unlimited data from Clear was about $57 with taxes included).

Any recommendations?
Thanks!

Get a landline based provider for that amount of useage at home(I.e. Comcast or AT&T) Wireless hotspot will cost a fortune. Plus wireless speeds can vary far more greatly.

Currently I have landline internet from AT&T. I am quite unhappy with price/quality ratio. With wireless this ratio was much better. I can compare. I want to go back to wireless. The only problem is that my previous wireless provider is out of business now. That company was killed by the competitors because of the good rates. They charged less than $60/month for unlimited data and OK speed.

Please give me only wireless suggestions in this thread. Thank you in advance!

You are not going to find wireless with that amount of data for that price.
