I heard of large banks making huge offers to new Bachelor's degree graduates in Cyber Security.

This would probably take you to Charlotte. However the story went they get 100,000s of attacks per day and need all the help they can get.

3 years of very few raises and a lot of people are actively looking even if they have not been laid off there since there is so much uncertainty still. I am thinking I will have to move away to find a good opportunity if it comes to that. Most of the jobs available in other industries in Houston area just don't pay as well. My opinion it's about average but if you can't handle that then you might have to move.

Most of the time, that's HR's over bloating of job descriptions because they're trained to go overboard with qualifications. No one ever meets all the requirements not even seniors. Apply for it anyway, if you get an interview it means you were still qualified. I'm in the same boat as you and keep running into entry level positions that demand 3-5 years exp. Those people who write the postings have ZERO idea what they're doing except trying way too hard to look professional.

Completely agree with the above.
In fact, just yesterday, I saw an electrical engineering position on Linkedin that was classified as "Entry level" but asked for no less than 5 years of work experience and for the applicant to have a PE (Professional Engineer's license) which can't be gotten without at least I believe 6 years of continous work ex.
It was crazy reading that advert.

Well that is good to read because I am switching fields and was nervous about not having as much work experience in the field but all of the requisite education and skills for it. If an employer sees that you meet all the education and computer related skills required for the position, and more, would they overlook the lack of work experience or say, the low amount?

Thats what all the H-1Bs & TN visa folks capitalize on. Fake resumes, bloated skills. HR does get lot of candidates who satisfy their criteria (on paper atleast).

Default Jobs.

Dependents on you profession. Traditional jobs, nurses, speech pathologists, professional, IT . Research the area before you park there.

In certain fields if you have 3-5 years you're still an entry level employee. Once HR gets you in for an interview they can weed out who really knows what they're talking about. I have 10 years of Operations experience in a specific area in the refinery which some companies wouldn't sniff looking for an experienced Operator. Yet in the midstream area I shot to the top because of my specific refinery experience. Apply to the right jobs and the doors will open up.

Be smart and start your OWN business while young. You will occur a few lumps and bruises but hang in there. The internet is full of oppurtunity with limited start up capital.
