Can anyone tell me what kind of grass this is and how to get rid of it?

How can I post a picture of it?

Don't know how to post a picture, but I am sure you can just pull it up.

Use the attachment paperclip and upload the picture from your computer or camera.

Without seeing a picture -My guess is that it is likely nutsedge. It's tough to eradicate, but easy to control as it can be pulled out easily (it doesn't stretch out like Bermuda does).

I have had luck putting down the fabric in the flower beds which limit most weed growth.

This is a much finer grass than nutsedge (cocoa). Usually one thin stalk than may separate to 1 or 2 more. Not flat to the ground. A very fine grass.

Also my beds are 2 years old and were installed by a landscape company that doesn't service their work.

Here's one way to post photos:

Click on "Go Advanced" at the bottom of your post (next to "Post Quick Reply").

Scroll down past the text part of your message past "Submit Reply" or "Preview Post" to the Additional Options area.

Then click on "Manage Attachments".

Then click on "Browse" to select photos from your computer.

On my Windows 8.1 computer, you then click on Save.

Then click on "Upload" and then post.

Thanks TFW46 but that management option doesn't show up for me. I have misc options and nothing for browsing for a picture. I am using an IPhone 7.
