Is Kingwod similar to the Woodlands? Is there a nice town center, big trees, etc? Is it better to invest in the Woodlands or Kingwood?

We have been looking in the Woodlands but we have heard people say that we should look at Kingwood. We would like to spend no more then $900,000. We really want to find a home on a greenbelt.

THANK YOU

Where will you be commuting to for work?
In that price range those burbs would be a choice, not a necessity to get a nice house.

My husband works from home and needs to commute to Bush Airport at least twice a week. I am a nurse and can work in any hospital.

As much as I don't like The Woodlands, it would be a good fit. Just don't go West of Gosling. Inner Woodlands traffic is horrible at almost every hour of the day. The farther back you go the longer it will take to get out. I think from the back of TW to 45 is almost a half an hour by itself.

Kingwood is just a few minutes drive from IAH and they have a nice hospital plus Hermann is close by in Humble. For that price range I would check out:

Eaglewood at Oakhurst which would put you right on a large golf course:

Kingwood - Eaglewood

and Kings Point which has miles of greenbelts:

Kingwood - Kings Point
