We have lots of great trees, some of the streets have sidewalks and yes, the HEB is really nice to have so close.
I took the time to look and my friends live in Bunker Hill Forest (zip 77055). I noticed the SBISD tax rate is similar to FBISD, but keep in mind that is only one of many taxing entities. Beware the MUD tax, it can be low or outrageous. I am wondering if Spring Branch or Sugarland is a better investment. I would guess Spring Branch. And it would be nice if at least one of you lived close to work.

I did hit single family homes and they still showed townhomes (abeit with ones without a common wall). I was initially thinking of getting a townhome first, but after thinking it over, we'll be having guests and family frequently and prefer to have a private driveway vs a shared one.
Ya I think those are technically called patio homes if they don't share a wall. Usually they don't share a driveway if they are patio homes.

OP,

I caught that you say you work at TMC. Assuming youre referring to the "black n' chrome" are you a driver (i presume on a dedicated account) or support staff? I only ask because the only TMC yard I knew of closed up shop around '13 or so (it was over by the Texas Pipe yard on McCarty up by the Pilot northeast of 610). Then again its been four years since I've been down that way.

I wonder if the Bellaire, West University Place, Southside Place, and/or Braeswood Place areas have fiber/1G Internet yet?

Parts of them do. I have it from AT&T and I am over near Stafford.

Braeswood should have it via AT&T. I was looking at Westbury homes and the ones closer to the bayou have fiber internet but the ones further don't.
