Charges dropped. I'm guessing there was no adequate reason for "Reasonable Suspicion"?

Charges getting dropped has absolutely zero to do with reasonable suspicion.
The fact there have been burglaries in that neighborhood (per the kid statements) and he was going door to door. Plus the apparent call of a suspicious person.
All grounds for reasonable suspicion.
I'm curious, did you read the article?

Where they explain he lied about his name and age. Not only his age, (said he was 19, but actually 21) but his birthdate (October 1999, making him 17)

So why did he lie so blatantly? Because he had at least 1 warrant, and 2 pending cases?

Now I get why he didn't give his real name and birthdate, he would have for sure gone to jail on a warrant.

Getting some "lying to an officer" charges dropped isn't anything special.
