Does anybody have a suggestion on a solid dummy camera? Looking to buy two that do not include the "red blinking light".

I know they are fake but I wanted to use them as a deterrent along with my home security system, motion sensors, and glass breaking sensors.

Thanks for any links or input in advance.

Cheap as they are, why not just install the real thing?

We tried the ring cameras but after the cloud fee, wifi extender and issues we thought it was a waste and returned it.

I could be mistaken but it seems like it would cost around $1,000 to install a few hard-wired cameras. I found and researched some solid cameras for <$500 but I am sure a security advisor/electrician wouldn't be cheap.

We have a couple of Arlo cameras, but if your WiFi isn’t decent enough to support a Ring doorbell, you might not get much use out of those either.

How do they work? Our ring was stuck in Night mode and just seemed faulty.
We could purchase a WiFi extender but our speeds are 200 MB down/ 20 MB upload.

you know 200MB down and 20MB up is VERY VERY VERY VERY GOOD.
Just get another router and put it near by the ring camera.

We went the Swannview route and 6 hard wired cameras. Very easy to install and the app works on your phone too. I think it was 250 total and will record for a week before it writes over itself.

Righteous! I knew the speed was good but range was bad.
Would a Wifi-extender do the same thing? I will investigate options.

Just get another router and put it near by the door and run a cable back to the modem
