If the grocery stores aren't open, are there any fast food, restaurants that you know are open? I know that Vietnamese noodle place(Pho Ben) is open. Just wondering if any other ones are open? We had ample food, but took in some relatives who were flooded out, thus somewhat shortage of food now. Thanks.

I'm really surprised Sugarland didn't get hit as hard as Friendswood and other places. I was totally expecting it to be a sea of water considering all the Lakes and Rivers all through the city.

In Pa in 1971 Hurricane Agnes flooded Reading and a meat producer was flooded out. Hams floated down the river and they had to stop people from taking them home to cook. I think I'd be wary of any restaurant or grocery that was in the flooded areas.
