That was very kind of you, Dopo. I think people affected by the flooding need this kind of donating as much as, if not more than, any other kind.

Honestly, who cares *why* he is doing it? The people sleeping and eating there probably don't. And if you're not one of those people, then please kindly shut it.

I have a co-worker who was there and he said he's going to replace his furniture from Mac period.

True,
Mac is going to benefit from this .... He's a business owner
but he's getting out of his way to help people

Joel Osteen is not a business owner, he's a pastor
and he had to be pressured by social media to help people in Houston

Matress Mack has done a great thing for Houston, and he has done many great things. As for Lakewood, I have been by that church twice since Tuesday and there are lines to get in that shelter. Who cares why it eventually opened? It is helping people now and that is what matters.

Anyone who has been in the area for awhile knows Mac's good reputation precedes him.

For all the haters out there, dont waste your time trying to tarnish this man's name and reputation. Actions and Time speak loudly, and Mattress Mac has been nothing but good for the city of Houston for decades.

To sum up this thread, Matress Mack has a good heart and is also a good business man. Period.

Yes, sir. Mac is a genuinely good guy. I hope he sells more furniture than he can handle in the future.
