I believe they’re expanding it a little further north so a section north of cypress n Houston can have docks, but for the most part no. I actually think the office/retail planned up near 290 may prove nicer than the boardwalk retail area. Once the railroad underpass for greenhouse gets built and it connects to skinner rd at 290 in the next few years, I think the development will pick up a lot. You can see all the planned retail in red here on their updated community map. You can see where all the new retail up at 290 seems large in scale compared with the boardwalk, plus a golf course and large park is planned just south of it. The interactive map here even gives a sense of what the planned retail would look like thus far in the design; guessing the numerous streets mean something along the lines of a smaller scale vintage park.

Is the golf course part of Towne Lake? It seems like that area has plenty of golf courses. I look forward to the main Town Center. The Boardwalk, while very nice, has been a disappointment in what it has to offer, although I am looking forward to Torchy's opening soon. I am also wondering if the town center will be more like a Woodlands type town center or a Fairfield type town center that is more strip retail.

My guess is a less nice version of vintage with maybe 1-2 small class a office buildings and a hotel if all goes well. Yes, the future golf course and park will be part of town lake.
