I'm looking to add a tiny home to my backyard for friends/guests to stay in and wondering if anyone in the Houston area knows of a builder who specializes in these designs. Looking to have at least 750 SF of space and not spend more than 75k.

Technically, I don't believe that size is classified as a tiny house.

Are you looking for one that is fully self-contained and/or mobile?

On my way from San Antonio to Houston, I see them displayed at the I10. I think it's just before Schulenburg. They have an office there and you can walk in each model to see them inside.
Not sure about the name, perhaps Tiny Homes of Texas? or something like that.

We are looking for a permanent structure.

This house really caught our eye so we're looking for something similar:

That's nice.

Have you checked to make sure where you live will allow it?

^^^ Very true. Check the permits and codes for accessory dwelling units. Homeowners should check for building restrictions in their home or property title policy and consult their homeowners association, if applicable. However, Texas has what’s known as "unrestricted zoning ordinances," which is more like the "wild west" - there are no, or very loose, zoning guidelines and you’re able to build as you see fit.

I hope OP already knows what he can or cannot build on his property.

My property has no HOA and there are no deed restrictions regarding ADUs. I live in sharpstown!
