Black market, good job hanging in there while people had their fun in this thread. The weather has been cold and we're all going a little stir-crazy in here. As long as you keep your sense of humor and respect other posters (like you've done), everyone on here will welcome you back.

Now, about that apartment for $720 . . . real estate has definitely changed since you've been gone.

I saw it as humor, but it's always hard to convey that on the internet. I am actually a 12 year old rottweiler chihuahua mix

You may notice some of the people whose homes were flooded now resemble the Kevin Costner character in Waterworld, having grown gills to make living in their properties possible.

The media make every event look like a disaster. All of Houston was underwater just as all of southern California is ablaze. A person with a lick of sense knows the media sensationalizes stories and paints a distorted picture.

In other words, the minority of America. A fraction of the population.

To the OP, Houston is fine. There are almost no areas that are still non-functioning.
That’s not the only reason Katrina hit New Orleans harder. New Orleans economy was unstable and rebuilding was still.

This guys is still definitely trolling. Sure there are the lunatics here and there who think what happens in the media happens forever. But no one would go on city data having the ability to go back just like that. If the person is able to move around like that, they’re too smart to believe this.
