If Sugar Land is more to your liking, then look at properties in New Territory or Sugar Creek. There are some properties in your price range and both these areas have good access to major freeways. at 6-7:15am the drive is 35-40 minutes. 7:15-8:30 - Drive is about 45-60.

Also consider Katy. It's very family oriented and you can easily find a home in your price range. Plus, its not in a flood area
