Can anyone tell me about the high schools in league city tx? We are looking at different subdivisions and they are zoned to either clear creek HS, Clear Springs, or clear falls. Also, is it better to live on the east or west side of 45? I really do appreciate all information.

League city is a great place to live. The school district is good at any of the schools. And east or west is solely personal preference. The only thing I’d add is don’t buy right on top of a creek. Some people like to have a creek view or creek at the end of the block, etc. when we have flooding — creeks are the first to fill up and spill over. And no matter where you move, always buy flood insurance even if it isn’t required for your home.

Texas 7, thank you so much for your feedback!! I will definitely keep that in mind!! All 3 HS's do look great online, I just didn't know if anyone had any personal information....they are also zoned to 3 different intermediate and elementary schools lol. Orchestra is very important, so we are hoping to find a HS with a good strings program))

Clear Lake is the best high school in the district. Clear Creek isn't far behind. Clear Brook is definitely last. I have family who have been to all 3. Clear Falls and Clear Springs do seem to be pretty good, so you are probably in good shape as long as you aren't in the Clear Brook zone.

I don't have high school kids, but I'm pretty sure you can't go wrong with any of the League City high schools. If you are looking at academic performance, I don't think there is going to be a huge gap between any of the schools. If you are looking at safety, same thing. League City is 100,000 people that is predominately middle class with a significant population of wealthy. Currently there is no bad part of town, although it is definitely not crime free. East side and West side are both nice. West side is still growing, and will probably explode in the next decade with a huge amount of development planned after the expansion of the Grand Parkway just a few miles south.
