Both Master Planned communities are great. Bridgeland was #2 for sales in 2018 in Houston, while Cross Creek was #3. Both great choices.

Trendmaker is a pretty decent builder, especially in their luxury series.
Bridgeland is the next Woodlands, so it should continue to grow and have family-friendly feel.
It is true though, high tax rates, so just make sure you are comfortable with that.
In terms of what you get for the money, look at the standard features and compare what is included with the base price of the home. Focus on doing upgrades/changes that are structural, then finishes. Something as simple as adding a gas bib in your patio may cost $250-$400, and if you do it afterwards it can be costly. Look at the mechanical grade of what they include (AC brand, seer level, piping, how they insulate the home, energy rating, etc.)

Thanks a lot everyone, We finally shortlisted a house in Trendmaker 80' section lot but back of lot is right next to Bridgeland Creek Parkway (approximately 25-65 metres). Any thoughts on the road noise because when i was standing out in the lot and there was observable road noise so no sure with increasing traffic how would it increase/decrease.
