with respect is the same as "no offense but....." I went there over some 15 years. IMO, a doctor's office should keep a doctor at least 5-6 years. Every year it was someone new. I finally stopped the madness and left. It was nice having an all in one shop but MDs leave fast.

I was joking with you a little sorry it didn't come across that way.

I was going to say "with due to respect.." but then I thought maybe I should say "no offense but "..never mind .. lol! just messing with y'all!!

So back to the topic..given a choice..is it reasonable to conclude Houston suburbs is a better choice than Dallas in terms of job opportunities, future growth, housing, quality of living, schools etc or vie versa or is it futile to compare the two since each has its strengths!

I would say the bolded. Both are great cities with great suburbs that would allow ample opportunities for the both of you, IMO. You would be better off lumping these two together and comparing them to someplace vastly different, and eliminating locations. If Dallas and Houston remain the final two you are considering, then you can spit hairs by comparing the two head to head.

I get the same sense. Probably slight variation in weather at least humidity wise. Thank you for your reply!

Of course individual opinions will vary on which city works best for whom and it depends who you ask.

Did some online searching and came across varied opinions as expected, some favoring Houston and some Dallas!

I don't know if you came across this one here on the Texas C-D forum, but I thought it was a good assessment by the OP and a good thread overall.

You made it to page 11? That's farther than I went, LOL. After a while, these long threads are just people repeating something that's been said before and/or two people arguing.

What I liked about it was that the OP and many other posters are complimentary of both cities, but also offer fair constructive criticism of each. I'm one of those Houstonians who actually really likes Dallas and I think this state is strongest when both cities are strong together and supportive of each other.
