I have not lived their nor know anyone who has but a quick look at a map indicates that it is not a particularly good area. The Atascocita suggestion is way better.

I wouldn’t recommend sugar land, your job is in downtown, that’s going to be a very long commute.

Remington Ranch is just north of Greenspoint which Houstonians refer to as “Gunspoint” and is one of the highest crime parts of town.

Only reason I ask is because I pulled an address and saw that Atascocita was 36 mins from my job and the other one was 24 mins. I do like the recommendation though. I’ll keep looking there.

HAR.com might be better for information about Houston area real estate, housing, etc.

Glad to know they have a dedicated site/app for Houston real estate.

I used to drive by Remington Ranch while it was under construction. No way I would buy there. Houses look OK, but construction methods were very low end.

Been researching and haven’t seen anything good about that area. Been looking at Atascotia and Jersey Village. Also say somewhere else about that Deer Park fire and how cancerous smoke was filling the air. Really scary
