Where to find cheap vinyl floor planks and building materials around town? (Pasadena: sale)

I’m not a contractor but do some renovations at my house from time to time. My next project is to replace my laminate wood floor with vinyl planks. I also would love to know where i can find cheap brand new building materials. HD and Lowes are a bit overpriced ifbyou asked me. Please advise. Thanks!

For flooring take a look up on 1960 if you have some time. There is a bunch of places that sell flooring up there. One place I think its called Handy Andy or something like that has the same exact wood floor we were looking at for 2 dollars less per sq ft.
In addition to builders surplus there is a similar type store in Pasadena on Spencer highway. Also there are a series of places on the west belt that have counter tops, granite slabs etc..Lumber liquidators can have good deals on wood but I understand some of their other products have issues and may be made with dangerous materials.

Each Lumber Liquidator store has different flooring on sale usually.

Floor and Decor has a good selection.

THere are probably some other options off Hempstead Rd right outside the loop
