Anyone have any good recommendations for honest, quality, reasonably priced car repair and mechanic around Katy area. I'm looking to get my power window on my GMC fixed and maybe a dented bumper fixed as well.

Default re: car repair

I've used Christian Brother Automotive and had good results. Not affiliated with them in any way. Give 'em a call.....

I have used Katy Dodge (IH10 just past Mason), both service and auto body shop, they have always given me the lowest quote in their body shop. Have used them for both my Chrysler and GM vehicles.

I had stopped by at Meineke Car Care Center on S. Mason, to get a quote on a brake job, for my vehicle (2nd opinion), and the guy put it on the lift, came back and said they brakes are in good shape, but needed the brake dust cleaned. He did for at no charge, and I have had no squeeling since. I was impressed, I thought for sure he was about to try to sell me a brake job...I would happily recommend them.

For any body work I HIGHLY recommend Walton's Body & Paint Shop. My entire extended family has been going to Walton for 20 years. There is not a more honest operator or skilled craftsman available. In addition, I doubt you will be able to beat his quote. He moved his shop from Bellaire out to Katy in about 1996. If you ask him, he will tell you that he was concerned about losing all of his business in the move but found that his old customers still drove all the way to Katy. Nothing sells like an honest mechanic, I guess.
